When I opened my eyes after the wedding, I wasn’t quite sure where I was. Heaven?
It took some time, and Vic’s help, to piece together the end of the event, except for the crying, which I remembered. So there we were in the Cloud Nine room of the Vashon hostel, listening to our pals making brunch.
That’s no let down.
With perfect weather, we started bidding adieu to our island guests, got some greasy bacon in us, and then spent the day alternating between lounging and joke telling with my parents and cleaning up the party detritus.
Though truth be told, my parents did most of the work and we mainly sipped wine, wandered the garden and watched.
