What’s the finishing touch on something posted on the Internet or a snippet of code? While there maybe have been a beginning for me, there’s hardly an end that I’d be able to mark with a traditional printer’s endnote, and my beginning on the Internet has been totally dependent on the work of other designers and code barons.
This blog is is powered by WordPress. Open source, community-driven, and extremely flexible, I’ve never regretted the day I left Blogger to take control of my own blog.
The current template is/is based on Sight by WPShower. Probably not the best theme for a code neophyte who wants to make lots of customizations, but a lovely free theme.

This blog started, as many do, to keep the friends up to date while I was traveling. In my case, a long bike ride across Europe and move from Seattle to Boston in 2004.
