The scraping is the most tricky and tedious part.
But I prefer to give my porkers the best possible life before a very quick and humane (if there is such a thing) departure.

The base layers have some stretch to them.

I would say the fit is similar to most t-shirts I own. I wear XL t-shirts, and the base layers in XL, but for example, I tried the Rapha button up shirt in XL and it was way too tight in the shoulders. I don't know chest sizes too well, and I have huge man boobs, but I've been wearing a size 17 1/2 shirt for a couple years... I look like hell in the base-layer by the way and nothing like the skinny guys parading around to the showers in them on the Rapha site.

They do loosen up a bit (I notice the neck starting to stretch-out on mine) and certainly get a softer with some wear. Like I mentioned in my review, my cream colored ones look quite dingy and got that way quickly. I'd only buy the black ones from here on out—and I will buy another set of these when these finally wear out.

What's the fit like for the base layer? I'd like to order some. Is it too tight or do they loosen up a bit after wear? I'm a 42 chest and was thinking of getting a large.

Thanks

Definitely lost a bit of color in the neighborhood: it's interesting to me how that repetition and pattern helps define the neighbors and our own place in the neighborhood.

Thanks Frank. I liked your question on live weight vs. hanging weight today. I thought it was interesting to think about how what we would consider typical percentages, like 70 to 75%, would probably be very wasteful in other societies.

Thanks for a very informative subject. I think people are spoiled in not knowing what kind of work it can be to butcher large farm animals. Thanks for the photos and information.

Last year I was driving with my friend on Ranier Ave. A surly teenager walked extra slow across the crosswalk, holding up traffic. In her frustration, my co-pilot blurted, "Is that what you want to do with your power?!"

What do *you* do with your power? Make someone's day.

I love your random acts of kindness. Viva flower power!
